Mesmer/Warrior Bleeder/Degenerator?
Is it a good idea to make a Mesmer/Warrior Bleeder/Degenerator? If so, what attributes should I get? (The skills are pretty obvious)
EDIT 1: Okay, I know I need Illusion Magic, Swordsmanship, and Fast Casting. This is for HP degeneration only, so far. How much of each should I get?

A Melee mesmer is a bad idea. They have low armor and aren't made for melee. I don't know much about mesmer builds but definitely its a bad idea.

I agree with the above. As a sword wielding Mesmer you're gonna get your ass handed to you pretty fast. Last thing you want is a caster class with pathetic Armor leading the charge into battle and going toe to toe with the enemy up close. Stay back and cast spells. That's what Mesmers do. Ideas like these make me want to bring Aura of Faith.

Okay guys thanks.
Making bleeder/degenerater is all the affects of a glass cannon. You annoy the enemy, but you die.

Sure, why not?
Have fun with it! Although if you are going to look death in it's ugly face - I'd at least go with something better then a degen dude. Which means 12 swordsmanship and some attack skills.

I recently allowed a Me/W mele to join my HH team in a difficult (for newbys) mission, thinking "cool a Mesmer." To my horror/amusement, he ran up to the front lines using ALL Warrior skills. After he died a few times he realized he wasn't needed and stayed in the back and occasionally helped take out a straggler.
I'm pretty sure a really good build designer could create a Me/W mele build that would work under normal circumstances, but this guy was horrible.

Honestly it is more fun to poison and defend and heal and degenerate at the same time doing armor ignoring damage. (I strongly recommend the shadow arts from an assassin to add to your bar)
